“I joined Realtor.com as an account executive over 20 years ago,” Lindsey reminisces. Her entry into the company was driven by a fascination with the convergence of technology, advertising, and real estate. These industries, she believed, held immense potential for growth and innovation. Lindsey was determined to contribute her hard work, dedication, and ambition to a place that would reward her efforts.
While Lindsey had limited sales expertise when starting at Realtor.com, the company’s fast-paced and collaborative culture empowered her quick success. “I told the interviewer I know I want to be more successful than my parents; my father is an executive at his company and my mother holds a PhD. I want an opportunity to make a name for myself and be number one,” Lindsey recalled.
Despite initial shyness, Lindsey’s drive to excel propelled her to become the top sales rep. “I loved winning the sales competitions and taking home all the rewards, as well as the recognition,” she said. When offered a management role, Lindsey embraced the chance to develop leadership abilities.

“I was fascinated by operations and the importance of cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making, and efficiency gains as a result of utilizing technical tools across teams,” Lindsey explained. Her managerial prowess grew as she ventured into diverse business units within Realtor.com in the media, rentals, and new homes sectors. Lindsey’s desire to explore different facets of the company led her to roles in Operations, Client Services, and Business Development. Her career path eventually converged into Customer Success and Business Operations.
“As my career grew, I created specialty teams focused on revenue, customer success, and turning data into earnings. It’s been a great ride—I’ve learned so much and have a great sense of professional fulfillment. I’m very proud of my accomplishments and so grateful for all of the personal connections,” Lindsey said.
The Thrill of Building Something New
For Lindsey, the highlight of her Realtor.com tenure has been creating the inside sales department.
“It was a blank canvas. We were so excited and very willing to put in long hours to build this team,” she recalled. From the interviewing and training stages to crafting sales pitches and refining processes, she and her team were wholeheartedly invested in the development and success of the inside sales team.
This project resonated with Lindsey because it aligned with Realtor.com’s mission to connect buyers and sellers with the right agents and brokers, ultimately adding value to both sides of the real estate industry. Today, the inside sales team continues to thrive—a testament to the enduring systems and strategies put in place by Lindsey and her colleagues.

For many, balancing work and family is challenging. Lindsey navigates this path with support from her Realtor.com network. “If something comes up, I can lean on my coworkers. If my coworkers need help, I’m always happy to jump in. We enjoy working together and share a deep sense of satisfaction as we achieve our goals,” she explained.
